This suit of training programmes are for those in the security sector or for organisations andindividuals that will security related duties and responsibilities. They are a great tool for those looking to transit from operative roles into supervisory and management positions.

Martyn’s Law Level 3

Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill 2024-25 is imminently due. This will put the onus of responsibility on event organisers to assess terror threats and have appropriate control systems in place. The course is broken down into 3 main elements:
     
1. Background to terrorism and the range of terror threats
     
2. Identifying specific events terror threats
     
3. Producing a realistic safety plan to prevent or react to terror threats.
At the end of the programme learners will have a support pack and guidance and will we be given feedback on a sample safety plan they have devised.

Managing risks as a security professional (ContractorActivity) Level 3

The ever changing threats from terrorism means we have to be aware of the diverse threats and the means that terror organisations will use to achieve their aims. Includes history of terrorism, hostile Recon concepts and risk prevention.

Counter Terrorism
Awareness Level 3

Very often security officers will be the only people present when contractors are carrying out maintenance work that requires Permits to Work (PtW) and Safe Systems of Work (SSW). This training will shown security professionals how to work safely when these are in place.
